All New Toyota Vios : Too Belief or Not !!!

In Malaysia, Toyota cars always consider a mid-premium car offering an exclusive design and comfort. Toyota always consider and choosed for comfort and Honda choosed for performance. But when come small sedan car both manufactured are equally offered the best in their products. Previous Toyota Vios was always refer as Dugong look anyhow seem attract lot of buyers due to Toyota power branding with a look of small version of Altis and Camry. It carried almost all aspect both cars have but in smaller and less specs.

For Vios it is top selling cars for Toyota as the all new Toyota Vios is waited by buyers as choice or consideration of new cars.A market says some of newly launch car by other manufacturer sees some lower sales  due to wait and see customer for the launch of this new Vios. Most of my friends who interested to change new car want to tried in hand the new vios first.

Why Vios so important and best selling in his class. First it is cheapest offering from Toyota . Now the new offering is said ‘value beyond belief’ going to be offered on affordable price.

Estimated price released which for it comes in five variants, with top of the range Vios 1.5 TRD Sportivo selling at RM93,200. The Vios 1.5 G automatic sells at RM88,500, while the Vios 1.5 E automatic and the Vios 1.5 J automatic cost RM82,900 and RM77,300, respectively. The entry level Vios 1.5 J manual sells at RM73,200.

The existing model's 1.5-litre 1NZ-FE VVT-i engine and four-speed Super-ECT automatic transmission will be carried over to this new model. Higher specs will have push start button , automatic climate control air con, projector headlamps, black interior and semi leather seat. The entry specs will have fabric seat and optional DVD Navigation with reverse camera feature. 

The safety specs will feature same as old model include ABS with EBD and BA, dual front SRS airbags, force limiters and whiplash injuring lessening (WIL) front seats and front seatbelts with pre-tensioners .

The mistake done in Camry is seems carried forward in this model as the VSC is still not available. But Honda ahead in this features by already install for its similar class model the 2013 Honda City E and E+ models. How the public will react to this VSC absent was not sure as this is one of Toyota cheapest car and unless the star rating of Asean NCAP can prove it.

The launch maybe ahead in last week of September 2013 or early October 2013 as Hari Raya Haji was coming soon in October 2013. UMW might not want to wait or delay before they lose the chance to get a kuih raya. Please UMW Toyota mind it, the Budget 2014 announcement is soon to be arrived with lot rakyat goodies especially Bonus…..Good luck
