New Kia Picanto : Big Dream with Small Body !!!!

After launching the Kia Cerato in July 2013, seems Kia now looking forward to get a cake in A Segment cars which have his brother Hyundai i10 and our Malaysia Myvi.

The new refresh Hyundai i10 also soon to be arrived here with new design. The small A segment is most favourite car in Malaysia. General speaking this car can sell well even not equipped with safety equipment as it mean for transportation targeted student, middle income family and first time car buyers.

The fuel economy is for sure on this car segment which carried less than 1.5 litre engine. In this crowded segment, refresh new Kia Picanto soon be entered in our market with new design exterior and interior. Existing Kia Picanto has number of buyer but due poor design, under-power engine and bad resale value it has contribute to very low demand car even in used car shop.

The new Kia Picanto has somehow refresh and have better look. Typical new Kia interior design has blended well inside Kia Picanto. Two petrol engines from the Kappa are offered, a 1.0-litre (68HP and 95Nm of torque) and a 1.25-litre (84HP and 121Nm of torque). The fuel economy figures stand at 17.0/km per litre and 23.8/km per litre based test drive done in Korea. The CVVT transmission is paired either five speed manual four speed auto transmission.

With LED daytime running lights, LED rear combination lamps, Bluetooth with audio stream it plus point standard equipment with more features to come surprised us. Based Kia worldwide website specification, it show some new additional features like rear parking assists system ( 4 sensor), Vehicles Stability Management (VSM), Hill Assist Control (HAC), Fornt Side Airbag, Electronic Stability Control (ESC). But for Malaysian market it might be this feature taken out or comprised due price competition and standard fitting regulation.

Based on predict Malaysia Price somehow range around RM55,000 to RM 62,000.00.

Remember the new launching of All New Toyota Vios anytime in October 2013 is much awaited by Malaysian, generally who have great concern of fuel efficiency option.
